This Privacy Policy explains how Khise Digital ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses and protects information when you use the KDSPOZ mobile app (package com.kdspoz.app), the KDSPOZ admin and guest ordering web pages, and the website kdspoz.khisedigital.in (together, the "Service").

KDSPOZ is a point-of-sale (POS) tool for hotels and restaurants. It is used by business owners and their staff. It is not directed at children under 13 (or under 18 where local law requires).

1. Information we collect

We do not sell your data, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

2. App permissions

Camera – to take photos of menu items or a printed menu when you choose to. Photos are uploaded only when you save them.
Photos / storage – to pick an existing image for a menu item.
Bluetooth and nearby devices – to find and connect to Bluetooth thermal printers for KOT, BOT and bills.
Location – required by Android on some versions to scan for Bluetooth printers. We do not collect, store or share your location.
Notifications, vibration and display over other apps – to alert staff about new guest orders and kitchen updates.
Internet – to sync orders, menus and reports with our servers.

You can turn off any permission in your device settings; related features will stop working.

3. How data is stored and shared

Data is stored on secure servers operated by or for Khise Digital and transmitted over the internet to provide the Service. Some data is cached on your device so the app works quickly.
Each business's data is kept separate and is accessible only to that business's authorised users and to our support team when needed to help you.
We share data only with service providers that help us run the Service (such as hosting, email and push-notification delivery), under confidentiality obligations, or when required by law.
Printers you connect receive only the ticket or bill content being printed.

4. Data retention

We keep your business data while your account is active so you can view past bills and reports. After an account is deleted, we delete or anonymise its data within 30 days, except records we must keep longer for legal, tax or fraud-prevention reasons.

5. Deleting your account and data

The hotel owner can request deletion of the account and all associated data at any time:

Email info@khisedigital.in with the subject "KDSPOZ account deletion".
Include your hotel code and the registered phone number so we can verify ownership.
We confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.

Owners can remove individual staff accounts, menu items and tables from inside the app at any time.

6. Security

Passwords are stored in hashed form, access requires sign-in, and staff permissions are limited by role. No system is completely secure, so please keep your login details private and remove staff accounts you no longer need.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, including India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent. Contact us using the details below.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows the latest version. Significant changes will be announced in the app or on this website.
